Lesson 25: Excel ki Vocabulary (Zaroori Angrezi Shabd)

Excel ko aksar "Smart Register" kaha jata hai. Lekin is smart register ki apni ek bhasha (vocabulary) hoti hai. Agar aap in 10–12 zaroori shabdon ko samajh lete hain, toh Excel aapke liye kaafi asaan ho jayega.

1. Data (डेटा)

Iska matlab hai Jaankari. Excel mein aap jo bhi likhte hain — chahe wo kisi ka naam ho, phone number ho, ya kharche ka hisaab — use Data kehte hain.

📌 Office mein log kahenge: "Ye data Excel mein bhar do."

2. Entry (एंट्री)

Excel mein kisi cell mein kuch likhna Entry karna kehlata hai.

📌 "Nayi entry karo" — matlab ek naya naam, number ya jaankari likho.

3. Cell (सेल)

Excel ka har chhota box jisme aap data likhte hain, use Cell kehte hain.

  • • Simple language mein: Cell = Excel ka ek khana
  • • Ek cell Column letter aur Row number se milkar banta hai

Example: A1 mein — A column ka naam hai aur 1 row number hai.

4. Column (कॉलम)

Vertical line (upar se neeche) ko Column kehte hain. Excel mein columns ko letters se pehchana jata hai.

Example: A, B, C, D

📌 Office mein: "Column A mein naam likho."

5. Row (रो)

Horizontal line (left se right) ko Row kehte hain. Rows ko numbers se pehchana jata hai.

Example: 1, 2, 3, 4

📌 Office mein: "Row 5 mein naya data add karo."

6. Range (रेंज)

Ek se zyada cells ke group ko Range kehte hain. Agar aap ek saath kai boxes select karte hain, toh use Range kaha jata hai.

Example: A1:A10 — Cell A1 se A10 tak ka poora group.

7. Reference (रेफरेंस)

Cell ka pata (address) Cell Reference kehlata hai.

Example: A1, B2, C3

8. Formula (फॉर्मूला)

Calculation (jod, ghatav, guna, bhaag) karne ke liye Excel mein Formula ka use hota hai. Excel mein har formula = (equal sign) se shuru hota hai.

Example: =10+20 — Excel automatically 30 result dikha dega.

9. Sheet (शीट)

Excel file ka ek panna Sheet kehlata hai. Ek hi file mein aap bahut saari sheets rakh sakte hain.

Example: Jan ki sheet, Feb ki sheet, etc.

10. Workbook (वर्कबुक)

Excel ki poori file ko Workbook kehte hain.

📌 Excel mein sabse important 3 cheezein yaad rakhiye: Cell, Row aur Column. In teen cheezon se hi Excel ki poori table banti hai.

11–16. Aur Zaroori Shabd

11. Format (फॉर्मेट) — Data ko sundar banana, rang bharna, ya font bada karna Formatting kehlata hai.

12. Header / Heading (हेडिंग) — Table ki sabse pehli line jo batati hai ki neeche kya likha hai. Jaise: Name, Date, Salary.

13. Sort (सॉर्ट) — Data ko sequence mein lagana. Jaise A to Z ya 1 to 100.

14. Filter (फ़िल्टर) — Chuninda jaankari dhoondna. Jaise 1000 logon mein se sirf Delhi wale dekhna.

15. Alignment (अलाइनमेंट) — Likhe hue text ki position set karna: Left, Right ya Center.

16. Error (एरर) — Galti. Jaise: #VALUE! ya #REF!
